Antonio Ligabue e Pietro Ghizzardi
Art and Folly
29 May 2015 – 17 January 2016
Curated by Vittorio Sgarbi
Antonio Ligabue and Pietro Ghizzardi inaugurate the temporary exhibition spaces of the Labirinto della Masone, each with a solo exhibition. For Franco Maria Ricci, Ligabue symbolizes, in a sense, his activity as a publisher and his passion as an art collector, while Ghizzardi was an unexpected discovery: they were two artists from the Po valley, apparent outsiders in the art of our time, who swam against the current, distorting the concept of figurative art and attempts at realism in an extremely personal way.
