The first frontispiece consists of three lines of type set in Greek capital letters in a large font. The verses, printed in lower-case Greek letters with diacritics and accents, are introduced by a title page. The second frontispiece Poesie di Anacreonte recate in versi italiani da Eritisco Pilenejo consists of seven lines of type with roman capitals in different fonts. A letter addressed to the reader ('Al Benevolo Lettore'), printed in italics, appears before the title page. All of the text is set in lower case roman type. The last ten pages contain, as a title page indicates, Le Poesie di Saffo di Lesbo (The Poems of Sappho of Lesbos). The imprint, printed on the frontispiece, for the Greek section reads "Parmae in Aedibus Palatinis, MDCCXCIII Typis Bodonianis", and for the Italian section "Parma nel Regal Palazzo, MDCCXCIII, co' Tipi Bodoniani".
